How it began
Our Story
Amelia and James
Napa, 2023

From a rainy bookshop to forever

We met on an ordinary Tuesday, both reaching for the last copy of the same novel. James insisted I take it. I insisted we split a coffee and read it together. Three chapters and four years later, here we are.

What started as a shared umbrella became shared mornings, a small garden, a very opinionated dog named Figaro, and a thousand little ordinary days we wouldn’t trade for anything.

“Last autumn, under the oak at Beaulieu Garden, James asked. Amelia said yes before he finished the question.”

Can I bring a plus-one?+
Your invitation will note the number of seats reserved for you. If you have any questions, just reach out — we want everyone comfortable.
What should I wear?+
Garden formal. The ceremony is on grass, so block heels or flats will thank you later. Soft, warm tones feel right for a Napa June.
